Hal & Mal’s Restaurant
This restaurant was conceived by the brothers Hal and Malcom White which was established in the 1970″s as a family business in the downtown Jackson area. The
main idea behind Hal & Malcolm and Vivian pigott Neill in 185 in the (circa 1923) GM&O freight depot building where the main business continues to opertate.
The main multi-funcional, southern-sould soaked rooms are adorned with memorobilia, which is in the local character and a stage for live music in each.
The restaurant serves a nice steady offering of great tasting hearty regional staples with a slight not toward the Gulf of Mexico and the cultural mecca of
New Orleans.

Walker’s Drive In
Description:
Derek Emerson is the founder of Walkers Drive -In. He moved into Mississippi in 1987. Mr. Emerson moved back to Jackson, Mississipi
Where he became the Exectuve chef for Schimmel’s restaurant. The opportunity arose for Derek to own his own restaurant and he formed Walkers drive-in.
